Château de Vallière, Oise, France

In 1891, the duc de Gramont, who had married Margaretha de Rothschild in 1878, bought 1,500 hectares of land near Morgefontaine in Oise, and commissioned the architect Alfred-Philibert Aldrophe to build him the château de Vallière.  The house is in the style of Renaissance Loire châteaux.
