Charlotte Henrietta de Rothschild (1955-)
Charlotte de Rothschild is an internationally renowned lyric soprano. Charlotte studied at the Mozarteum in Salzburg and at the Royal College of Music in London. She studied with Vera Rozsa and Oaul Hamburger. She specialises in Oratorio and the Art of Song.
Charlotte specialises in the Art of Song, performing in 19 languages, including Japanese, Chinese and Korean. Her many CDs include French and German art songs, unique albums of English composers and three albums of classical Japanese Kakyoku, including one with the City of London Sinfonia conducted by Michael Collins.
