Georgine Sara (Georgie) von Rothschild (1851-1869)

Georgine Sara von Rothschild, the eldest of the three daughters of Wilhelm Carl and Mathilde, died on 11 April 1869 in her 18th year. Her parents established a foundation in her name to provide medical care for poor members of the Jewish community, for whose plight Georgie had 'repeatedly expressed her passionate concern'.
