Collection of texts of talks given by Ferdinand to local working men's clubs: 'Queen Elizabeth' given at Waddesdon Reading Room on 9th January 1884; 'The reign of Queen Anne' given at Aylesbury Literary Institute on 6th May 1884; 'John Wilkes' given at Waddesdon Reading Room' on 19th November 1884; and 'George III' given at Anthony Hall, Aston Clinton on 23rd February 1885. Ferdinand also lectured at Toynbee Hall in the East End of London.
