Dedicated and presented to the president and members of the Roxburghe Club by Victor, the third Lord Rothschild. This volume contains transcripts and facsimile reproductions of holographs collected by Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild between 1873 and 1896. They consist of verses, aphorisms, quotations and drawings by fifty-seven well-known individuals of the day, including royalty, writers, artists and statesmen.
